Ontario's Green Hopes

New green energy legislation in Ontario is expected to bring approximately 50,000 new jobs to the province, according to Sandra Pupatello, Ontario minister of economic development and trade. The Green Energy and Green Economy Act was passed this past spring. As a result, she explained, the government expects to develop a large green energy production market including wind, solar, biomass and biogas.
